In the exhibition Land, artists Ari, Noga Or-Yam, Tal Sharon, and Thea Spector delve into the notion of land—not only as tangible terrain but as a layered cultural and social sphere, imbued with meanings of home, identity, and belonging.
The works were conceived during the Zahra residency, held over the past week at the kibbutz in collaboration with the Arava Institute. Within this brief yet intensive period, the artists engaged in a process of artistic inquiry, examining the local landscape through the dual lens of the outsider and the insider. At the heart of their exploration lies a central question: How is a place perceived through foreign eyes?
Through poetic gestures and material interventions, the artists extract fragments of life rooted in this land, dislocate them from their everyday contexts, and reframe them—inviting viewers to encounter the familiar anew. The resulting works evoke the complexity of place and memory, oscillating between presence and absence, intimacy and estrangement.

בתערוכה "אדמה" חוקרות האמניות ארי, נגה אור-ים, טל שרון ותאה ספקטור
את מושג האדמה כחומר פיזי וכמרחב תרבותי-חברתי של בית ושייכות.
העבודות נוצרו כחלק מתכנית השהות ״זהרה״ שהתקיימה במהלך השבוע בקיבוץ, בשיתוף מכון ערבה. במהלכה קיימו מחקר אמנותי השאוב מתוך מבט חיצוני-פנימי על המרחב המקומי, תוך שאלה מרכזית: כיצד נתפס מקום דרך עיניים זרות?
העבודות מנציחות פיסות של חיים המתקיימות על אותה האדמה, מושות אותן מהקשרן המקורי ומטעינות אותן במשמעות חדשה.
